You have to excuse a point of personal privilege, as @JoeBiden is fond of saying, but I need to talk a little bit about the @JoeBiden press team.

I spent much of 2017 to early 2019 on the road. It was a grind. And then @RemiMYamamoto came and showed me what a REAL road warrior looks like. Almost 600 days and hundreds of interviews, gaggles, and ropelines. From the icy roads of Iowa to the hot sun of Florida: she owned it.

I didn’t know @TDucklo before this campaign, but the @KBeds seal of approval was all I needed to know. TJ gave more to this campaign than I thought a human could give. He laughed in the face of adversity. He was our heart. When TJ says LFG, we go.

Campaigns can be stressful and serious — but not if you have @JTOBrown on your side. Jamal’s energy is contagious, and for everything from cyber security to LGBTQ+ rights, he showed up with the receipts and had @JoeBiden’s back.

There are few people who exceeded expectations on this campaign like @thematthill. We needed someone to run press operations. What we got was a master of process, a full-fledged press secretary, and an unrivaled hype man.

If we were a team of killers, then @AndrewBatesNC was our number one assassin. His persistence, focus, and effort was truly a sight to see. He destroyed every got take or weak oppo pitch that came out way. He’s earned his 10:30am lunch tomorrow.

But when it comes to the dark arts of Rapid Response, he wasn’t alone. @MichaelJGwin and @RosemaryBoeglin dealt with everything from endless fact checks to super wonky inquiries on century old legislation with dispatch. What warriors for this campaign.

. @Seth_Schuster, @ngeladelacruz, and @CarolinaSGonz all made our press operation run. If you are a reporter who benefitted from our press releases or who pooler for us — they made it happen. They are incredible.

And I would be remiss if I didn’t shout out @Amijah_TH and @Adonna_Biel who were and will always be members of our team. They went on to contribute incredible things in other parts of the campaign. But once you are team press, you are always team press.

This team was scrappy. They were dedicated.

They won this election and because of them we are going to win the battle for the soul of this nation.
