Every few minutes, I gasp because I remember something else that I care about that is no longer threatened.

Starting a list.

1. The Paris Climate Agreement --our withdrawal went through on Wednesday, and it's going to be SHORT.
2. The mission and integrity of the Smithsonian Museums of African American History and American History, which were suddenly being dragged into forced "Patriotic History" and forbidden to use Critical Race Theory, or even to think about structural racism.
3. The Tongass National Forest.
4. You know what? I don't think we're going to get some kind of Zombie Keystone XL pipeline revived by the need for fossil fuels theater.
5. I bet the Pebble Mine proposal is going down, and that's going to save a lot of people and a lot of jobs and a lot of wildlife in Bristol Bay. http://www.savebristolbay.org/pebbleproposal
6. Also, the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge! This thread by @FinisDunaway gives us a sense of the sheer scale of disaster averted. https://twitter.com/FinisDunaway/status/1295705849831227393?s=20
