In this Christmas movie, a florist has to fly to Alaska in the wintertime to get a certain flower by Christmas Eve.

It’s far too light during the day for this to be set in Alaska.

Also is there such a thing as a jingle bell flower?
Ok so there is such a thing. It blooms in May and June and typically grows in zone 4-9 which Alaska has SOME of, but certainly not IN DECEMBER.
None of this seems plausible. There’s no need for this florist to go to Alaska just to pick up the flowers.

They absolutely could have been shipped, because it’s not like they’re going to be in the aircraft cabin with her, you know?
Though I will give this movie points for featuring what is clearly going to be an interracial couple; that never happens in these.
Ok, so there’s WAY too much sun at too high of an angle for this to have been filmed anywhere north of Vancouver, and I’m annoyed by it.

Also, this town has 112 people, and I think there are 80 of them at the Christmas tree farm/jingle bell flower festival right now.
There’s going to be a tree-lighting, because of course there is.

She’s supposed to leave tomorrow, but bad weather or something is going to keep her until the last day of the festival, and then she’ll decide to stay.
Bad weather.

Called it.
Lol she travelled to Alaska from NYC and somehow I’m supposed to believe that she was going to get back to NYC on the same day? And no contingency plan for weather?

Have these writers ever done anything before?
(I should clarify that this isn’t nearly as bad as the one that @kmcbean and I both watched, but it’s still bananapants)
SHE WAS CROWNED JINGLE BELL PRINCESS?

They just met her. She could be a serial killer.
(I really should have made a hashtag for this)
I stopped paying attention for a second and there was a commercial for ANOTHER one of these and I just thought it was a plot twist.
Oh no! They might need to cancel the dance! If they cancel the dance, how will our leads find the right moment to kiss?
Oh she’s going to help pull things together, and it’s obviously going to be the best festival finale ever, and she’s never going to leave.
