Today is a day for celebrating, but the work to make the most of the new administration and to do what is needed so that the Biden team can hit the ground running begins tomorrow. With that in mind, I have a concrete idea when it comes to antipoverty efforts. . . .
A 2020 report would be different but likewise could serve as a punchlist for those selected to join the administration's antipoverty efforts. Lots of people would be good on such an effort. I would start with the heads of the 2007 report, @peterbedelman & @agb4equity.
Other good people to run with this include those with CAP, @rebeccavallas, @ACGinDC, etc, those in academia with deep comfort with program details ( @DavidASuper1, @andrewshammond) those working on poverty/COVID issues, @emilyabenfer, and those working on race/poverty issues, etc.
Of course, one could think that such a report is not necessary because there are articles and briefs on nearly every topic, but what was great about @amprog's 2007 report was that it brought so much knowledge together in one place and provided direction on big matters.
