There are more than 3 million ballots left in California.

That alone is highly likely to push Biden's national popular vote lead above 5 million votes. (That's > Obama in 2012.)

(And that's not accounting for the many heavily blue mail-in ballots to be counted in NY.)
Throw in what's left in NY & IL & elsewhere as well, & Biden's national popular vote lead could also surpass Obama's win in terms of percentage points. (That'd make this the 2nd biggest popular vote win since the 1990s.)
ALso, please don't write post-mortems of the NY, IL & CA elections yet! I see a lot of articles & takes that are treating *uncalled* elections as finalized, esp. in NY, where there's a good reason they haven't been called: a ton of Dems voted by mail, & that's still outstanding.
