There are more than 3 million ballots left in California.

That alone is highly likely to push Biden& #39;s national popular vote lead above 5 million votes. (That& #39;s > Obama in 2012.)

(And that& #39;s not accounting for the many heavily blue mail-in ballots to be counted in NY.)
Throw in what& #39;s left in NY & IL & elsewhere as well, & Biden& #39;s national popular vote lead could also surpass Obama& #39;s win in terms of percentage points. (That& #39;d make this the 2nd biggest popular vote win since the 1990s.)
ALso, please don& #39;t write post-mortems of the NY, IL & CA elections yet! I see a lot of articles & takes that are treating *uncalled* elections as finalized, esp. in NY, where there& #39;s a good reason they haven& #39;t been called: a ton of Dems voted by mail, & that& #39;s still outstanding.
