Huge hedonism fan
Mystics are the true hedonists
Hedonism's public image is hurt by dilettantes with little interest in experiencing greater pleasure
Usually they spend all their time miserable and suffering trying to heal from a past momentary numbing of their pain or working to acquire the next one

None of this is fun at all
True hedonists recognize the human condition, in which 95% of every experience sucks, and rebel against it
True hedonists seek at all times to minimize the sum total pain to pleasure ratio
True hedonists eventually seek pleasures that do no fade, that remain sensational and interesting due to their depth and complexity. They want pleasures that will not die or make them die
True hedonists may be obsessed with bodily sensation at an early age, but quickly are driven by their life's mission to appreciate emotional richness, then intellectual richness. And when even in this they find themselves limited, they seek to take pleasure in G-d
Some are so dead and unhedonistic that taking pleasure in G-d never occurs to them

Even a very coarse and lowly false hedonist is in a better position
What if, hear me out, G-d just creates us for the purpose of enjoying things
What if every moral failure is just a failure to take as much pleasure as possible

What if G-d is a vintner standing on the side and wondering why you're still on Mountain Dew
What if He's just waiting for you to sip of a secret barrel of He's been saving for you since the creation of the cosmos?
A true hedonist is not afraid to work, he just wants his work to be pleasure and his pleasure, work
He naturally seeks that which unites dualities, for he recognizes this dual nature to things is the source of pain
He realizes that the good of others is a sublime pleasure, around when he starts appreciating emotions
The true hedonist realizes trust in the Almighty is the only context in which his pleasure is secure
The true hedonist eventually realizes that his own desires pull him away from the contentedness of not being aware; that there is great pleasure in not feeling pleasure, too
The true hedonist wants not just pleasure to permeate his mind but his mind to permeate pleasure, and comes to see the common denominators in all pleasure, the fullness of being, the self-contained lack of want, and sees some holy spectacle where all such fullness converges
The true hedonist sees the non-mystic and those apathetic to the spirit and wonders whether they wish to enjoy things
What if existential angst is just a hedonist wondering where the good stuff's at
What if Ecclesiastes is just trying to give us the best directions to the party he knows how
