like if ive learned anything from the past 4 years, ive learned that white ppl will vote for their own self interest 99% of the time and ive learned that america is too invested in capitalism to ever consider living the way like the uk or australia do

america will have this mentality that nothing should be free everyone is just lazy, healthcare is a "privilege" not a basic human right, we NEED guns for everything, there are only a few "bad apple" cops, and black people "need to WANT to succeed" until the end of time

im not saying we shouldnt advocate for these things. what i AM saying is that yall cant expect or push for EVERYTHING to be changed ALL at once. we arent gonna get socialism in one big swoop. dem politicians have to compromise and implement small changes in small increments

if everyone is just like "SOCIALISM" that will scare off the moderates and the right and next time we will have a republican senate and house.

ik this thread says how dems didnt do well bc they wont listen to the people but i also think dems didnt do so well bc trump pushed the message that every democrat supports socialism so much that ppl believed it and refused to support them. but i digress

sorry to be pessimistic but can we just celebrate for ONE DAY that trumps gonna get the boot and hopefully go to jail ???
