Hello!

One week ago my hubby had shoulder surgery, and his recovery has changed up our routine, which leaves me less time to crochet, as I assist him as much as he allows me to. Y& #39;all know what I mean , right? Lol!
He has been a really good patient. Not too demanding, lol. I think today, he was getting a bit of cabin fever. He travels for a living, so being home for an extended period of time is a big change for him.
So, we decided to pack some snacks, went to KFC, picked up lunch and went to our local state park, Oak Mountain State Park. We are both Veterans, so we get in free. We went to the beach area and found a picnic table by the water. It was a nice day. Over cast with a breeze.
We ate our lunch and then walked over to the pavilion area and just relaxed there. Took a short walk and back to the van. It was a nice way to get out of the house and just enjoy each other! Afterwards, he wanted to go pick up a few things from Wal Mart.
I stayed in the van, and he went inside. He even helped pick out some yarn via a Snapchat call.

Came home, took a nap, and then had chilli and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. It was an awesome day!
Hope your day was just a great as mine was! Thank you for taking the time to read this blog. I appreciate you!
