Bernie turned off a lot of people bc he and his team were fucking weird about race and it’s nothing wrong with acknowledging that actually.

I would be overjoyed if he were on that stage tonight but let’s not pretend like it wasn’t partly his fault
Those are lessons to learn for the next progressive and Independent/3rd party candidate.
I personally felt like people who voted for Biden in the primary beetle voting against my future and I was incredibly angry. But we can’t keep making the same mistakes over and over again.
He hired a bad team, a cliquey team, a team that failed to do their jobs and he failed as well.
It wasn’t smart to go with Biden over Bernie. But it wasn’t smart for Bernie to ignore the South and ignore everything Black voters were telling him and it wasn’t smart for him to hire internet trolls as his spokespeople.
Bernie did not fight like hell to get on that stage bc he didn’t realize that he had to fight like hell for Black people. Not just say he was for poor people, but BLACK people. He reduced everything to class and that was catastrophic
It should be him on that stage tonight but it’s not. And we will reduce our chances of getting someone like him or better if we refuse to acknowledge his role in that failure, if we refuse to acknowledge that he failed US. Just like Warren did.
