hypothetically let's say 2 ppl became pen pals call them apple and banana but apple uses another name (grape) when writing to banana so now banana has fallen in love with "grape" the pen pals have never met but apple has a unique relationship with banana's grandma

bc banana's gma helped apple when they were at a low point, during the same time frame banana's parents had just got divorced so they lost mom & sis (gma wanted to cheer her up so she asked apple to become banana's penpal) ANYWAYS banana has always wanted to meet "grape"

(there's more to fill but i'll skip) gma & apple meet again & gma tells apple that banana is looking for "grape" in order to show up her sis at a networking party so apple uses his resources bc the mf is RICH NOW to find "grape" bc grape is real when they (gma and apple)

made the first letter to banana together they got "grape" from the newspaper so duh grape is real, they find grape. banana and grape are becoming close but grape has to pretend that he was the one behind the letters bc apple asked him to do that. throughout this

grape starts to develop actual feelings and wants to tell banana the truth but apple has a problem w that. banana has been saying for years that "grape" has been her first love.
