The only upside of Dems having a much smaller majority in the House (and a razor-thin one at best in the Senate, assuming they have one at all via the GA runoffs) is that at least this time they won’t be under ANY illusion that the GOP will be open to reason.

I don’t mean that as a slam on Obama—he, too campaigned on bringing the nation together, so I understood him giving the GOP the benefit of the doubt for awhile. Biden can’t afford to give them more than five minutes to stop being complete dicks.
