Tae isnt symmetrical to his room, showing he isn’t “perfect”. Pic of the ocean may rep a positive or negative emotion-tranquility or fear+openness to the unknown.Also,he had good & bad memories linked to BV3. The pic is peaceful. We can assume happiness despite unknown challenges

Joon’s room: objects made of wood, which can’t break easily. He comments it would’ve looked better w/ some porcelain. This links back to Vmin’s rooms - not being perfect. You can mold porcelain, not wood (carve). Porcelain = perfection here. Breaking the image of a perfect idol

Side note - very sweet & interesting how Joon decorated his room with things that keep him happy & sane, like his bonsai tree and figurines that symbolizes the collection he has in his recording studio

Yoongi’s room: looking in a mirror-facing yourself. It reflects the truth. Mirrors reflect your existence. He’s not looking in the mirror though. He’s aware of himself, his existence & who he is as a person + liquid Mercury in periodic table = Agust D/alter ego +true self in room

Caesium is a liquid metal but not in block D, so prob mercury (Hg) on couch=Agust D.Hg=unique liquid that should be hard/brittle but is liquid.ONLY metal thats liquid at room temp.Also toxic=allude to things not always being what they seem in idol life + seeping from an $$ item

+YG’s room: beryllium spheres=BE in periodic table. It’s a rare,rich, FREE element -lightweight & bonds w/ itself.Resistant to acid attacks.Could be interpreted as BTS being aware some will react negatively to authenticity in BE but still embracing selves

Hobi’s room: reflects Hope World + his song Ego. At the end of Ego he knows who he is-his true self. In his room, he talks pointedly about his identity & how the room shouts who he is as a person. Remember in Ego he learned to trust himself & pushed forward to a wonderful life

He also has some interesting signs in his room. One says “do it for yourself / my choice” & another says “my choice and future” - making a stance as to who he is & being confident in it. BTS will make their own choices. Plus Hobi’s room is a mix of hot / cold colors.

Remember a room = intimate view of a person. All rooms reflect on-dropping their masks, stepping back from the “perfect idol image” & loving/accepting who they are. BE appears to strive for further authenticity from the members. Love yourself -> speak yourself -> now BE yourself

Also - all the rooms complete the colors of the rainbow

HEAVY DISCLAIMER/CAUTION - this part is super SPECULATIVE so INTERPRET as you will.All members had reflective pieces - Jimin, Joon and Jin had windows. Yoongi had a mirror for a reflector object. Hobi’s couch could be considered reflective material + reflects Ego/Hope World theme

However,TK didn’t have any reflective object in their rooms.Jk wants to be heard.Tae’s room is closed off but the pic on the wall represents how he sees the world. Reflective objects show who you are. TK can’t see their faces in their rooms.All have ways to see themselves but TK

perhaps TK don& #39;t have reflective objects such as mirrors/windows, or in Hobi’s room -> object + personal song reflecting about finding himself, bc they’re not living their truths yet,which is consistent with the previous symbolism of hiding -> the VCR& #39;s "hear no evil/see no evil”

DISCLAIMER - as far as Tae & Jk’s rooms being different, this is NOT about “taekook” as a “ship” but merely pointing out how I find it interesting they didn’t get a reflective piece in their rooms. It MAY mean something & it MAY NOT. This part of the thread is HEAVILY CAUTIONED

Overall, regardless of the final thoughts regarding TK, even factoring that OUT, I think all the rooms are extremely significant in reflecting the members wanting to break from the mold of being perfect idols & being genuine/authentic, embracing their identities and BEing
