#BC Nov 7 #COVID19 update - OK BC, it's time to go "full in" and help bend down the curve again. The last two weeks have seen surging case numbers (red). Doubling time for cases is now ~11 days, much faster than the slow growth seen earlier in the fall (~57 day doubling times).

Today, Dr. Bonnie Henry today announced new public health orders to control cases in the Vancouver and Fraser health authorities: no indoor social interactions beyond households, no indoor sports, no non-essential travel in/out of these health authorities for two weeks.

Here's a look at the rising numbers of people affected by #COVID19 in #BC: in hospital, in ICU, new cases per day, and, most devastatingly, deaths. These numbers, particularly in the Lower Mainland, have lead to the new restrictions.
