Do you make money from streaming board games?

Here are some figures:

In 11 months I've made ÂŁ160 from subscriptions and gifts, but I've spent ÂŁ800 on stream-related equipment and games

After 395 hours streaming I'm ÂŁ640 in the red, and would take another 4 years to break even
I'm not complaining, I don't do this to make money, but because I've genuinely loved streaming, and I'm hopeful I'll be using the equipment and games I've invested in for years to come.

This is more to say, if you're expecting this to be a way to make money, it's really not!
Of course, you can do things a lot cheaper than I have. Board games are expensive, so you can of course sell those you buy to pay for others.

People have said they are jealous of my set up, but this all comes at an obvious cost that will likely never be recouped.
So the headlines here are:
- I have earned ÂŁ0.40 per hour so far.
- I have spent more than I've earned
- It would take me years to cover these costs
- I do this for personal enjoyment, not for a living.
It's worth pointing out, if you are streaming for a job, then sure, that's going to earn you money, if you are sponsored by, or paid by a publisher to stream, again, that'll bring in some cash.

But streaming based on community funding, likely to not fill your pockets with gold.
