Keep thinking back to the Muslim Ban airport protests: How doomed we felt, how far away this day seemed, but how committed we were to fighting back.

That’s the story of these four years: A president who attacked everything we held dear and a people who refused to let him win.
The students who marched for our lives—and walked out of school for our planet.

The women who protested from day one.

The lawyers still working to bring families back together.

The activists who kneeled down and stood up to declare: Black Lives Matter.

This is their victory.
Sorry for tweeting from the heart, this is corny as fuck, but I can’t help but hope that, when historians look back on the Trump presidency, it won’t be remembered by what he did, but by the spirit of activism he sparked, which stayed with us long after he was gone.
