So fellow white followers. Instead of listening to the white dudes in the media telling you to reach out and hug a Trump supporter today, I offer you the following challenge:

1. Find and add ten black women to the accounts and voices you follow.

2. Identify at least one doing work you believe in and spend the next four years amplifying their voice and helping that cause in every way possible.

3. Find a voting rights org and do the same.

Listen to the people who just saved our democracy.

Let them lead.

Help them so they don’t have to carry the burden themselves.

Protect the votes of the vulnerable.

Uplift your allies. Not your abusers.

And turn off the fucking cable news and outrage porn.
