be careful of ones that use the st paul principles or other "keep criticism internal to the movement" stuff to shut down criticism of powerful people in the group when they're misusing power, especially in ways that are straightforwardly abusive.

i want to encourage people to join leftist groups in their community and start groups when there's a void but don't want any of you to have to endure abuse to do it, basically. take care of each other and take care of yourselves!
