So there's multiple ways to turn out of this election could go. there are litigations in multiple states over voter fraud, lots of arguments on both sides for or against it and plenty of people willing to overlook it because they hate the current president.
What I will say is regardless of what anyone thinks, the process should be protected. If there was fraud, that should be investigated and thrown out. I believe that there was some level of it due to evidence presented by many sources. But I have no idea how much. There always is
At least a little bit... And that's every election. I find the smugness on both sides of this election weird AF, and it's a bit amusing to me because of the promises made by the potential president elect, and the fact that after an entire term of trying to block every single
Thing the current administration has done, that a new administration would think the other side is not going to do the same thing. This is setting a lot of bad precedents, for example I guarantee if Biden wins the Republicans will try to impeach him etc. Just becoming more tribal
I know people don't like long tweets, but I really find everybody annoying in this situation. There are plenty of people on the current administration's side that would not concede power even if voter fraud was proven false, but plenty of people on the other side that would
blatantly overlook it because of how much they dislike this administration, which is an absolute reach and an awful precedent to set, and we already said enough awful precedents during the last 4 years blocking every move, complaining at every turn, turning peaceful protests into
Actual rioting which took away from the powerful message that BLM had and turned the conversation towards violence ignoring police brutality etc. I'm honestly just tired of how angry this country is and how willing they are to look the other way to give themselves a reach around.
And I don't really care if this makes anyone mad. I'm also tired of feeling like I can't talk about it. You can like or dislike whoever you want I could care less but there's so much reaching going on and circle jerking it's pathetic.
I should add no matter who the current president is, I want them to do a good job. That affects all of us. I'm just tired of the constant attitude that I see online about this stuff and the promises made by the incoming possible administration are impossible to keep.
One of their whole platforms is that they will handle the pandemic better and would have prevented death, even though the CDC had projected at minimum a 200,000 death count if it was handled well, which is what we're at. So to me, I'm just interested to see how that will be made
Better, and economists predict that if you go after the oil industry right now it could cause an economic collapse in America due to how many items are petroleum-based that aren't even cars, while most of our cars on the road need fossil fuels. People don't actually think
About the pragmatism going on or how realistic everything is, or the effects it would actually have, they have this weird idea of the utopia that it would create in a hundred years. Currently we live in 2020. We need modern solutions right now not self jerk-offs.
a lot to read and I try to avoid personally telling you how to think on anything. I try to just say how I think honestly on things, and normally I don't talk much about this stuff but it is still important to me. I appreciate anybody who read this and didn't fly off the wheel.
