You all realize that it was never "Trump's America," right? Just like it was never "Obama's America." Or "Lincoln's America."

It's always been "Our America." "We the People." That's why you have a say in who occupies the office.

If you've had a problem for the last 4 years, or the 8 years before that, YOU'VE HAD OPTIONS.

You could've started a business or a nonprofit to make a positive change. You could've joined the police force. Or become a teacher. Or joined a local board. Or run for office.

That's the whole freaking purpose of this crazy "self-government" idea. You don't have to simply turn the other cheek when leaders do things you don't like.

You have a chance to be a part of the discussion. And the part you play is as big as you decide to make it.

You didn't have to sit there idly and cry about "Trump's America." Just like I won't sit around and cry idly about everything the next administration does. And I don't want to be associated with anyone who will.

It's YOUR America. Own it.
