Imma start a thread where i watch critically acclaimed movies and give my take on them and a score since i dont trust white critics , even though nobody cares
1- good will hunting: 5/10 shit was a two pack of ass , it was hard to sit through and the protagonist whole “omg im such a genius nobody understands me” personality got annoying like an hour into the movie , but some of the scenes were cool like the “how u like them apples”
Scene or the “its not ur fault” scene , i also like the way they dressed in this movie
2- moonlight: 9/10 good ass movie bruh, shit didnt even feel like 2 hours, the story and the cinematography is top notch and i loved the ending scene referencing the quote juan said at the beginning
Oh yea it also felt SO GOOD watching a movie where the whole cast is darkskinned/black and not a single white person to be seen in the movie
3- oldboy: 9.5/10 this movie is just crazy good , and the story is insanely good, also i love the way this movie was filmed (i love the eastasian cinematography tbh) , overall just an amazing movie
