not kissin up to biden/kamala by any means but white leftists before you tell black and brown folk celebrating today that “this isnt over, theres work to be done”— realize that message is for YOU especially. black and brown ppl have done a lot of work to undo shit YALL did.

it is very much in poor taste for you to tell US the work isnt fully done when our work has gone unnoticed time and time again AND we’ve been used as a scapegoat.

AND the work that we’ve done is for our betterment- not to teach white people a lesson or to save white people. we are not your saviors. a lot of us don’t have the choice to do activism or not. it’s really do or die.

I wanna come back and reiterate in this thread that we KNOW that Harris and Biden are terrible. we did not want Trump to be re-elected and we KNOW we are not any better off with Biden/Harris in office, we do not need white people reminding us about this and telling us to do work.

since this is gaining traction, now is the perfect time to give reparations! i am not only a black, neurodivergent, nonbinary lesbian who really use some $$$, but i’ll link other efforts by and for black and brown ppl!
