Got out of the shower to this news and now I'm weeping on the floor. Christ, this has been a hideous four years.

I didn't quite realize how much I was preparing myself to die of being unable to afford insulin during the next four years.

Along with a lot of other things I was preparing myself to die of should we have another 4 years of Trump. Die fighting, I thought, but fighting is complicated by having a chronic disease that can kill you so easily.

To all the people who fought for this, thank you for fighting for all of our lives.

I'm not nuts: I know everything is far from "fixed" and that the work to be done in America is SO MUCH WORK- but for a moment here, I'm just gonna cry with relief that we are getting rid of Trump, who was as bad as I ever thought he could be, and getting worse daily.
