I told him we were going to take my coming out op & he woo& #39;d and smiled really big before saying "Congratulations!" After the op, he gave me a big hug and thanked me.

The next day, I told him how much it meant to me, he thanked me. Then he asked a bunch of questions about my coming out and seemed genuinely interested. I told him I haven& #39;t come out to one person yet bc I was too scared. He looked me in the eye and told me (...)

"Don& #39;t be scared, it& #39;s who you are. You know what? As a father, I would wanna know who my daughter is. Don& #39;t hide that from them." (...)

Then a year later, I asked if he remembered the op and he said yes and after having dealt with some homophobia, I told him that my experience wasn& #39;t what I& #39;d hoped for but that his words helped me get through that. (...)

He listened to me with full concentration and was kind of silent for a moment before writing "B.U." on my picture. He then took my hand and said "You know what that is? Be you." I thanked him, he squeezed my hand, nodded and said "Okay." before letting go.

I also had a funny and wholesome experience with him and Misha that day when my ex and I had our first kiss in front of them because they were our "matchmakers"
