Reading through tweets abt @ProjectLincoln & I have to say that I have never been more disappointed in my fellow Dems.

You want to know the single most important thing they did?

They brought us together. We worked *together* & talked, despite our differences.

Maybe...
You all don& #39;t realize just how amazing that is.

Now that you think it& #39;s over, we& #39;re going to retreat to our respective sides & be assholes rather than keep the lines open & learn to fucking work together for the long haul?

Really? That& #39;s your vision for our country? 2/?
A vision, I might add, that is very much similar to the one we just spent the last 4 fucking years working against.

I just cannot believe this. Was all the talk about how we are supposed to be better than that just lip service?

I mean, wow.

Maybe it& #39;s because I& #39;m older...
3/?
I& #39;ve become more pragmatic.

In a perfect world...

But it isn& #39;t. And by whose definition are we going to define "perfect?"

Yours? Mine? Trust me, you would not want mine. Anger issues & a vivid imagination is a bad plan.

No one, not a single one of us, is *ever* going...
4/?
to be 100% happy with our gov& #39;t, politicians, laws, each other...

Fucking deal with it.
Realize that people can change.
Understand that we all need each other to fix trump& #39;s shitshow
Compromise, it& #39;s a thing. Look it up.

If we, as a Nation, are going to move forward in a positive direction, we have to learn how to do it together.

Otherwise, this has been all for nothing.
