As part of a plan to restart the nuclear energy sector, the Trump administration wants to streamline rules for uranium mining on public lands.

In an event honoring Native Americans, Trump used a term widely seen as a racial slur to refer to Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. The president has frequently used the name to demean her on Twitter.

In August, as the Navajo Nation sought a pardon from President Trump, the reservation saw a push in advertising from the president's campaign for reelection. 

The tribal voters claim a requirement that mail-in ballots be received, rather than postmarked, on Election Day places "unconstitutional burdens" on them.
