Green Bay's City Clerk was on a leave of absence. Under Stat 62.09(5) when a municipal officer is temporarily unable to do their duties, the governing body (city council) may appoint a person to discharge the officer's duties until the officer returns.
Did the Green Bay City Council ever vote on an Acting City Clerk? Or did the Mayor's Office simply take over the running of the election. The Green Bay Mayor is Eric Genrich, a former Democrat State Assemblyman from 2013 to 2019.
The Green Bay Mayor's Community Liaison is Amaad Rivera, a Massachusetts Democrat (former Sen. Markey staffer).
Amaad Rivera has made it his mission over the past 4 years to resist/stop/defeat/fight Pres. Trump. While the Deputy City Clerk was at City Hall all night, election observers tell me that Amaad Rivera was running most of the absentee ballot processing on election night, where final GB numbers were not reported until 5am on Wednesday morning.

This needs a thorough outside investigation of how Green Bay ran the election & processing of 31,000 absentee ballots. The Trump Campaign should demand it.
