My human version of #Sonic and Tails ready for some adventure! I'm much more happy with how Sonic looks here than in my earlier sketches. Not that I didn't like them, but I had problems trying to get him to match my Tails gijinka stylistically at first.
I think I might make the individual locks on Sonic's head wider in the future if only to make it easier to draw quickly. Sonic originally had two communicator bands like Tails has, but he gave the other to a "Rose" or something so he only has one now.

An amendment I'll make, because it's something I've thought over for a bit.
Sonic can swim, but barely. And he's not a huge fan. Knuckles still pushed him into a pool though the first time. And the two of them still got yelled at.

So! Sonic and Miles are half siblings here from their father's side. Sonic's the youngest of 3 from their father's first marriage; parents divorced when Sonic was 4. At 6 their father remarried and started a new family. Sonic was 7 when Tails was born.
Sonic was a little aloof with Miles at first. After not hearing very much from his dad, they have to go meet his new son. He felt betrayed by his father for a while, and wanted nothing to do with Miles/Tails.
When Miles was 5, some older kids were picking on him after school. Mile was already in the 4th grade, but so tiny. Sonic saw what was happening and wasn't having NONE of that, he tore on over there and put a stop to it. The two have been inseparable ever since.
I might add more later, but there are other story details I'd rather wait for when I have more character stuff ready to show.
