Ima give Joe one day to bask in his victory before I’m back in the streets protesting against him because he ain’t talking bout defunding the police, folks are still unhoused, jobless, hungry, and we still getting slaughtered by police.

I don’t see his win as a victory. I see it as maybe a sigh of relief but in no way will it bring me joy.

Why would I celebrate an old white man’s victory?? An old white man who stood by when harmful legislation was decimating Black communities. Y’all must have Stockholm syndrome.
