I just finished watching their documentary the other day and would love to share things I& #39;ve picked up from it in a POV as a new fan. #LISA
Lisa literally has an old soul. Her love for vintage clothing and other vintage things says a lot about her. It& #39;s an expression of uniqueness or one-of-a-kindness and love for nostalgia. On my own experience, people who find amusement in these kind of things are often---
very sentimental. They thrive on memories, especially the happy ones. This also correlates with her love for photography. I am a photographer myself and we have this unique perspective of time and memories that& #39;s quite hard to explain in words.
Has anyone paid attention to this clip yet? I find this one very amusing. Jennie was right for implying Lisa was born for this but we all damn no there& #39;s no such thing as an easy road to success. It& #39;s hard to see random people here on social media saying that she& #39;s not talented--
not good enough or overrated but I& #39;m telling you, true artists/performers know better and would not hesitate to think otherwise. The skills and talents that Lisa shows isn& #39;t acquired overnight. It& #39;s made from a million mistakes, injuries, and criticisms.
What were you doing when you were 13? 14? I don& #39;t remember much but its certainly not travelling across seas, living in a country I& #39;ve never been, and certainly not trying to converse in a language im not familiar even a bit. She& #39;s truly insane for this.
Lucky are those who have constant people in their lives. They& #39;re the ones who will celebrate your wins, who will cry with or for you. They share your pain and they most likely would take all of it if they could.
I can& #39;t quite remember if this was from the docu or just an interview when Lisa was talking about a personal dilemma on becoming a singer/artist that she wants to be. Like everyone else, she too, still has things she& #39;s not sure about and its quite unbelievable--
that she& #39;s still aiming to be a better artist. She has her own definition of success no one will ever know. I honestly believe that whatever she& #39;s showing now is just 10 or 20% of what she has inside. No one is really ready for this.
I& #39;d like to end this one with two things in mind. First, I& #39;d like to thank her for not giving up easily. Her journey became mine, her happiness became a goal, and her success, an inspiration to be and do better. Second, I hope she gets the opportunity someday to tell us---
more about herself. Its no secret that the docu has quite a superficial take about Lisa. She gave a version of her story w/o mentioning a negative vein from it. She still has another version and she would probably keep that to herself. I hope we get to know about that someday.
