White men is why Trump maybe re elected and the fact that we just accept that as inevitable is how much they’ve fucked with our heads.

Every election analysis shows that if white men even voted like white women, Dems would win up and down the ballot.

But y’all wanna yammer on about everyone but white men.

They can be so shitty because we allow it.

Just look at how uncomfortable you all are talking about white men and have tried to switch the conversation to white women.

White men are not OK. They’re dying faster. They’re lonely. And they’re taking out this anger on us. Instead of doing any interest introspection.

If we want to live in a better society, White men will have to transform substantially. For their own health and for ours.

But as long as we never talk about how problematic they are as a group, that will never happen.

And yet y’all can’t focus on white men at all.

The way white men have trained you not to look at them critically, is really fucking impressive.

I’m not excusing black men who voted for Trump, Cubans who voted for Trump, and definitely not white women.

But the complete lack of focus on how problematic white men are, continues to baffle me.

After this election all of us will be able to remember the exact percentage of white women who voted for Trump both in 2016 and 2020, but none of us will remember this number about white men.

We will remember that number about Cuban and Blackman too, but not about white men.

You talk to liberal white woman here, and a large percentage of them feel ashamed for the way white women vote.

You talk to liberal white men, and they are so happy to blame white women but take no responsibility of their own.

We tolerate so much shit from white men.

we need accountability from liberal white men to,o not just from white women.

We need white man to step up, stop pretending the problem is just with Karen, and do some thing about their own fucking demographic.

Minimally we need some honesty about how this happened.

It is intellectually dishonest and psychologically gaslighting to not ask for accountability for the group most responsible for Trump.

Trump is brought to us by white people, especially white men.

And we can’t seem to be able to be honest about this.

White men are over represented in media, academia, everything else that shapes our understanding of society.

This is why they escape accountability as a group, and we look everywhere else.

This is not accidental.

Y’all try to shut down every discussion about how white men vote overwhelmingly for fascist and white supremacists, by pointing the finger to some other group.

But I genuinely hate this gaslighting of data.

We know the group who is to blame for the majority of this shit.

I’m not excusing anyone who voted for Trump, but white men as a group are becoming overwhelming violent both in their rhetoric and their practices, and we are just not doing and saying enough about this.

I urge white man who are reading this thread, to stop pretending that this is about masculinity overall.

It is not.

If your demographics voted the way black men did, we wouldn’t be in this situation.

Sit with your discomfort and stop blaming everyone else.

I can’t get into individual arguments right now, but I see some of you trying to pretend this is just a masculinity problem, this is another form of deflection.

This is how you deflected in 2016 blaming white women only, you’re doing it again.

I don’t know if this is happening because we are afraid of looking our oppressors in the face, or our oppressor has trained us to look at everyone else.

Or both.

But it is time for some unified social criticism of white masculinity and it’s deeply destructive behavior
