--Unplug from internet & all media for the day
--Do not buy a single thing (even a cup of coffee)
--Do not do chores
Relax.
Read a book. Go for a walk or drive. Visit w/friends.
It& #39;s a quiet, relaxing day.
But at the start of each of these Sundays, do the following:

Greet God in the morning something like this:
I offer this day to You Lord & I Acknowledge Your Glory.
I want to have a sincere relationship with You.
Please help me draw nearer to You.
Do this each Sunday in November & December right up until Christmas.
Then...

If you decide that you do want to start the New Year fresh & get back into the swing of things:
--Go to Confession
--Attend Christmas Mass (Friday, Dec 25th) or Christmas Eve (Dec 24th)
Then on the 9th Sunday, December 27th, go to Mass & offer it up in Thanksgiving to God
