in this video we see mark and ethan having a tough time with coming to terms with the end of the channel: they argue that it they had to little time, and they beg for more, they say that they don’t want to let go. however, there are voices telling them that the time is over, +

that end is coming whether they like it or not, there’s no way to stop the clock. those voices belong to unus and annus, entities that are directly tied to the clock, but are at peace with it. they tell them that, with acceptance, it would hurt less. +

at last, after constantly fighting against unus and annus, mark and ethan accept their fate. and with that becoming one with the entities.

“but what does it mean?”, you might ask. +

well, in my interpretation, this video is directed at us. mark and ethan represent our fear and denial of the end, the desperate wish to fight the clock. unus and annus represent the acceptance, the coming-to-terms of it all; the inevitability of death. +

they are teaching us that, however many futile attempts we make, there is no stopping of the clock. so we better accept it, because it will come either way. the end is part of the journey after all. +
