And the post below is why I made this. Not trying to hate on Dlo, just trying to make sure he’s properly rated because he was getting overrated here https://twitter.com/csmu02/status/1322270075643142144
These are their percentile rankings as well as their shot disparity charts

Dlo Shai
One could say Shai had the season a lot of people thought Dlo was going to have. They thought he'd blossom under Curry and the two would be one of the most dynamic back courts in the league. Unfortunately, none of that happened due to injuries and Dlo getting traded to Minny.
As for Shai, he had a great sophomore szn. Leading a 4th seed in the west in scoring and improving almost every aspect of his game. He blossomed under Chris Paul and took on the lead scoring role with ease. He also had a good case for an all star appearance and even MIP
I’ll give Dlo the scoring edge, not just cause of higher ppg but he also had a higher volume(4 more FGA) and was more efficient on all 3 levels of scoring. However, Dlo played 25 less games and took abt 200 less total FGs so to say Dlo had a higher volume is only like 70% true
The passing gap isn’t rlly close. Dlo had a rlly good passing season and Shai had an average one. Playing with CP3 definitely attributes to that, Shai was far from their floor general compared to Dlo who was the floor general on both teams he played on(when steph was hurt ofc)
Shai is the better rebounder and for a guard he's a pretty good one. Shai is also the better defender by a pretty good margin. He's no DPOY candidate but compared to Dlo who was horrific on defense this year, he is definitely better on that end. Keep that defense gap in mind.
Shai is also the more impactful player. You can attribute a lot of his superior impact stats to playing next to CP3, but lets give credit where credit is due. I think the defense gap attributes more to the impact gap than the teammate gap does if that makes sense.
His defense is why he leads in most of the impact stats, along with his efficiency and superior on/off rating. Some stats are team oriented but even the ones that have an on/off rating in their formulas, Shai would still lead cause Dlo’s teams were statistically better w/o him
To recap, Shai is the more impactful player, rebounder and defender compared to Dlo who is the better scorer and passer. How you see this argument is likely determined by how you weigh those categories but I know I put a lot of emphasis on impact. Which is why I have Shai ahead.
I hope Dlo sees some more winning next szn, stays healthy and hopefully has some fun playing with his best friend. Maybe next year we can revisit this but I doubt it. I think Shai is gonna start to realize his defensive potential and that'll just continue to increase the gap
