Was doing a strategy catch up w/ @PremierLacrosse COO @asinnenberg on google hangout and we both agreed that remote culture into perpetuity isn't the solve-- just a trend.

Thread:
1) we miss the spontaneous ideation that happens in an office- especially when things calm down from the day.
2) google hangouts start to feel forced as people have "camera fatigue"-- any good recommendations out there to make them more exciting? I played http://jackbox.tv  last night and thought it could be an interesting engagement tool. Have also heard breakout sessions work well
3) we spend the majority of our waking hours working with our colleagues. But now with remote work, we end up missing out on a lot of personal elements that end up building closer / more trusting relationships in the long run that provide better retention and efficiency
4) WHITEBOARDING! I know there's tech out there that tries to solve out here but it's NOT the same.
The future of work has changed with COVID but once we're able to get back safely, I predict there will be a hybrid movement back to work sooner rather than later -- I'm w/ @reedhastings on this one.
