I finished the first ep of ayitl and I have a million thoughts so here we go

first of all.....I kind of....loved it ? I’m so sorry oomfs.....I had fun. Maybe I miss them so much so I was so excited we’ll see how the rest of the eps goes.

I once saw someone say that lorelai and emily’s fight didn’t make sense but ? it made perfect sense they would fight after richard’s funeral ? It was very in character and accurate...at least to me

ALSO the only part I didn’t like was Paul....that was dumb. Rory wouldn’t have a boyfriend for TWO YEARS that no one knew.

....and rory and logan.......hear me out. it makes sense that they’re having an affair. It’s kind of like rebecca and nathaniel where they want to be together but they’re dumb so they settle for an affair and justify it as casual. I don’t like it but it makes sense to me

AND....luke and lorelai...I love my parents so much. they still can’t communicate which was frustrating and they still aren’t married? wtf? other than that I was just happy to see them still together. at least ASP didn’t ruin that.

and Rory’s career and lifestyle made sense to me idk? she was on a campaign for years so it makes sense that now she’s traveling and not tied down.
