Programs talking about the plot against Gretchen Whitmer always leave out one thing.

Yes, they threatened to kidnap and murder her and anyone who got in their way.

But they also threatened to rape her with a gun.

Why do they leave that one out? Too distasteful? It might upset sensitive people?

Or is it because we might have to talk about misogyny?

This threat actually PROVES that the motive that "militias" and Republicans put forth is BS.

They didn't want to "arrest her and put her on trial for her for crimes".

They wanted to sexually assault and murder a woman. A woman who presumed to tell them what to do. A woman who stepped out of her proper place.

There is a misogyny motive here. And I think we should talk about it.
