i can't decide if the baby is sirius or regulus but let me shitpost about uncle alphard for a minute

sirius and reg always visiting him every summer and always counting down until the holidays until they saw him because they knew they'd be allowed to stay up late and listen to the stories alphard told them about war and growing up because their parents never did

regulus has a nightmare about bad things and cries in the night but he's used to his parents not caring or scolding him until alphard finds him wandering the corridors timidly, and he wipes his tears and kisses his head and lets him sleep in his bed so he's safe

when sirius and regulus grow up in hogwarts he takes them to places in the muggle world like camden and shows them all the music and culture there and buys sirius a pair of docs or something yea

he teaches all his nieces and nephews muggle traditions and on halloween he shows them how to play duck apple and other games. bellatrix isn't the biggest of fans but she still manages to win every round against sirius.
