THREAD Community #TarotReading :

Halloween arose out of the Celtic festival of Samhain, which was a time for burning bonfires and wearing costumes to ward off ghosts and evil spirits
.It's about a connection to the ancient past, and our current spirituality.
This spread is designed to shine light from a place of loss and darkness, much like a jack-lantern that begins empty, but glows brightly in the darkness. If you wish to do this spread for yourself, here is the spread and below are the prompts for the three cards.:
1. What Guidance can I take from my those I’ve lost that reside in the Spirit World?
2. What Can I learn from my shadow self?
3. What light can shine forth from losses and shadows?
Keep reading this thread for the #communityreading on this deliciously spooky day....
1. Queen of Blades: Blades (swords) is the suit of circumstances we deal with on a day-to-day basis and life’s challenges and address us when action should be taken or recognized.
The Queen is observant and independent, she is always listening and might surprise you with advice out of nowhere based on her silent learnings.
This card appears as advice to be more independent and problem-solve on your own. If you have been leaning on others too much, perhaps it is time to follow your own intuition and rationalize with critical thought over the opinions of others.
2. Nine of Elixirs: Elixirs (cups) is the suit of emotional thought and relationships. This card advises us that our wishes have a very real ability to come true, so we must focus our energy on what we want most and remember to indulge in the finer things ....
.... just so as long as we aren’t wrapped up in material wealth as emotional and material joy can crossover at times. If you find yourself heading in this direction, circle back to life’s simple joy’s and remember where your dreams began and why you wanted them.
3. Temperance: Temperance is one of the most supporting cards one can draw in a Tarot reading. It speaks of “mind-over-matter,” and asks us to evaluate our current situation so that we may become balanced.
This doesn’t mean equalizing the aspects of your life, but removing the toxic elements that hinder you from being whole and at peace with yourself. Be honest with yourself and acknowledge and address the bad habits and addictions that might be holding you back.
