Midoriya Izuku is out of luck.

He knew that since he was just young. It started with his father leaving them then her mother dying on an accident from work. Him being transferred from one orphanage to another. He has to be the most unlucky person there is.
He must have pissed some gods in his past life that he was cursed with unending suffering.

But you see, he's stubborn. And whenever life knocks him down he stood up and fights back. He surged forward fearlessly, heart full of hope.

No one teems with life more than him
He'll always, always find the brighter side of things. He'd always find the sun even in the cloudy sky. He'd always have something to look forward to and to smile about.

So at 18, he moved out from his nth orphanage, worked hard, scored a full scholarship in UA, and works as —
— a studio assistant.

He was able to afford a cheap but decent apartment. And his life is going well.

Sure there are hiccups here and there but he has friends like Ochaco and Iida that helps him back up.

Only his bad luck still follows him.
This time in the form of what seemed to be his cursed love life.

Izuku is a good person, really. He's sweet. He's full of effort and when he loves it's all out. He doesn't know holding back. He gives and gives.

This frustrates his friends like no other.
"Izuku," Ochaco held the curse that was about to slip out her lips knowing Iida's gonna go full nag on her. "Trust me you're the best thing that the universe ever made but your taste in women and men is just full on shit." She gave in and let out the bad word.
Iida didn't react about the cursing but rather fix his glasses and agreed on what Ochaco said.

They were drinking in a small bar because Izuku was cheated on for the nth time.

Yeah. Izuku can't remember how many times he was cheated on.
His first girlfriend, cheated on him. The second one, cheated on him. The third one, cheated on him. And surprisingly the recent one, cheated on him.

He never had a boyfriend yet but he has crushes which are in Ochaco and Iida's words are just full on shit.
"Maybe... It's my fault, you know." Izuku sighed gulping down his shot of sake. "Maybe there's something wrong with me?"

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Ochaco slammed her hand on the table. Iida reprimanded her for both cursing and hitting the innocent table.
"Shh, not now!" The lady turned to Iida briefly who answered with a frown. "Izuku, sweetie, our ray of sunshine, please. Just please. Nothing is wrong with you! You're amazing. You love with all your heart. Giving them pieces of you even when it hurts you!"
"Listen to me, nothing's wrong with you. It's not your fault. And honestly the only thing flawed about you is your shitty taste in people you deemed worthy to be in a relationship with."

Izuku pouted and just grab the sake bottle and drank straight from it.
"Fine," Izuku sighed wiping his lips with the back of his hand and slamming the bottle down. "Maybe, I'd give this love a rest. Maybe it's not for me."

"You just need someone good! Someone who'd treat you good and love you the way you should be loved!" The lady said.
Iida was about to say something when their attention was caught by the table next to them when they heard a loud slap.

"How dare you?" The woman cried, burying her face over her palms. "I gave you everything and you still cheated on me!"
The tall blond man that was standing in front of her just rolled his eyes, cheeks red from the slap.

Izuku stared at the guy. He looked handsome, chiseled jaw, rubily eyes, blond hair, and stylish clothes.

He looked so done. "Well, I didn't ask for anything, bitch!"
His voice is deep and Izuku somehow shuddered. He's probably drunk because right now he just found the man extremely sexy even with what seemed to be a thrashy—he should avoid him—personality.

"Fuck you, Bakugou Katsuki!" The girl shouted back before marching away.
Wow, even his name sounds good, Izuku can't help but think. Katsuki. What a beautiful name.

"Crazy bitch," Katsuki grumbled raking his hair and slumping back to his seat. He called for the waiter and paid using a card before leaving.
"See that guy? That's the kind of guy you need to avoid!" Ochaco turned to him pointedly.

"What? It's not like I am within his league. Have you seen his girlfriend, she looks like a model!" Izuku pouted.

"That's not the point!" Ochaco shut her eyes as if her head is hurting.
"The point is asshole like him is the one you need to avoid!" Ochaco slammed her hands on the table. "Tenya, please tell him," she turned to the guy next to her.

"Ochaco is right. Not only is that guy a cheater, he looked like a deliquent with those piercings and tattoos!"
"He has tattoos?" Izuku blinked. "Oh wow, that's sexy." He slurred.

"Izuku, no. Just no." Ochaco warned with the most serious face ever. Izuku gave an understanding nod.

But you see... Izuku is stubborn. Like class a stubborn. The most stubborn there is.
Okay he maybe stubborn but he knows his place. Plus him and Bakugou Katsuki didn't cross paths again but he did his \\research\\. Ochaco calls them stalking, Izuku calls them just getting to know someone.

Bakugou Katsuki is apparently a rising fashion photographer.
Like him he studies at UA doing a double degree in fashion and photography. It was amazing how he even got published works from various magazine and he's just 19. He was famous because he's smart and has that bad boy charm.

He had a spectacular list of exes ranging from —
— models, campus sweethearts, and at one point he even dated an actress.

Sadly for Izuku, he seemed to be straighter than a pole.

He's also notoriously known for cheating on his exes and is not even apologetic about it.
He carried himself like the world owes him. He has confidence and is proud of what he could do. He can boast because he can back them up.

Izuku is smitten. This was the point of his life that maybe, MAYBE, Ochaco is right about him having shitty taste in men and women.
Oh well, it's not like he'd be together with the blond. One, he concluded the guy is straight. Two, he's nowhere near his types. Three, him and Katsuki wouldn't probably cross paths again.

But life is such a little shit because Izuku can't barely move when the blond entered —
— the studio he was working for. He was pulling a hardcase, one hand carrying a black duffel bag.

Oh shit, Izuku quickly glance at the studio schedule and saw that today is Nylon Japan's cover shoot and he just found out it was Katsuki who will be shooting the cover.
He was torn between running away and congratulating the blond because as far as his research told him, this is going to be Katsuki's first cover shoot ever.

Again, he's not a stalker. It's research.

"Excuse me, can you help me with my other stuff?" Katsuki asked.
Izuku felt like he short circuited. Oh fuck, he wasn't just drunk last time, Katsuki was really handsome in person and he's just standing in front of him.

"O-of course!" Great, he's a jittery mess.

Katsuki raised an eyebrow on him then turned to walk as Izuku followed.
His car is very much like him. Red and good looking. Izuku knew the guy has money. He earns big from his photography plus his parents are famous fashion designers.

Katsuki began unloading things and Izuku immediately picks them up. They then headed back to the studio.
"Thanks," Katsuki grunted and began setting up his lights. Izuku offered a stuttering help but Katsuki told him that he's good so the greenette just stepped back and watched the guy work.

He had seen so many photographers in their studio but this is the first time he —
— saw a photographer than didn't have any assistant. And he even has a name already. He does everything on his own like a lone wolf.

The fashion editor and creative director approached Katsuki and talked to him about their shoot. He listened attentively and even gives —
— out some suggestions to make the shoot better.

Izuku just watched as they started working. And oh boy, seeing the blond in his element made him fall harder. He suddenly understood why people praised him. He was skilled, he knows what he was doing, and he delivers.
The shoot was over in five hours. And as much as Izuku would just like to stare and daydream about Katsuki. He was there to work so he got up, collected the garbage left and threw it at the back where he saw Katsuki crouched down, smoking.
Izuku threw the garbage on the dump and when he was about to go back to the studio the stylist from the shoot got out and took the cigarette from Katsuki's hand and took a drag from it.

"Kats," she smiled. "All you need to do is apologize and we can go back to the way—
"— we used to."

Izuku wanted to disappear but the woman was blocking the door so he was just there standing awkwardly witnessing something he shouldn't.

"The way we used to be?" Katsuki snorted. "What the fuck are you talking about?"
Izuku went rigid when the woman began ranting telling Katsuki she's the best thing that had happened to him. That he's wasting his time playing around. Katsuki rolled his eyes pushed himself to stand up

He walked towards Izuku who looked at him sweating.
Katsuki cupped his his face and kissed him all of a sudden. The stylist gasped while Izuku's eyes widened.

Holy fuck. What the hell is happening.

Izuku was about to step back but Katsuki keep him in place and coaxed him to open his mouth, Izuku did only to feel the blond's —
— tongue inside his mouth. Izuku was swept into the moment. He doesn't know what's happening but right now he's kissing Bakugou Katsuki rather too intimately in front of his shell shocked ex girlfriend.

Katsuki pulled away but embraced Izuku hiding his red face from the stylist
"Did that fucking answer your stupid nagging?" Katsuki smirked at the lady. Izuku was having a meltdown but Katsuki kept him in his arms, still hiding his face.

"I don't think you're the best thing that ever happened to me so get fucking lost." The stylist quickly left.
Izuku quickly pushed himself away from Katsuki, covering his red face.

"Hey, don't tell me that's your first kiss?" The blond asked with a smirk.

Izuku quickly shook his head. He wanted to say he was the first guy he kissed but he just held his tongue back.
"You're so fucking red," Katsuki chuckled.

"P-please stop teasing me," Izuku crouched down. "Do you just do that to anyone?" Izuku peaked to the blond.

Katsuki shoved his hands inside his pockets. "I don't just fucking kiss anyone, I have a taste."
Izuku quirked his eyebrow. Katsuki rolled his eyes. "What I'm saying is you're cute, idiot."

Izuku felt himself turned red again Katsuki just chuckled and went back inside the studio. Leaving Izuku with Izuku's heart on his hand.

And Izuku didn't have a chance to protest.
That was the last time Izuku saw Katsuki. He kept up with him through religiously checking his social media account. He found out that Katsuki had his first huge clothing brand shoot. And apparently he'd dating another model.

Izuku wanted to be broken hearted about it but —
— he feels like he had no right to feel such just because the guy impulsively kissed him during one of his exes' fit.

Sometimes, Izuku would close his eyes and recall the feeling of his lips. On how expertly he moves. On how he'd make you kiss him back with all you got.
The next time he saw Katsuki was somewhere he didn't expect. It was during one of the time he visited his mother's grave. He was about to leave when he saw the blond standing in front of a grave. He was holding a bouquet of purple hyacinth.
He placed the flower on the grave and walked away. When Izuku deemed it was safe, he went to the grave and read the name.

After leaving he searched for the name. He knew what he was doing was wrong but he can't help his curiousity.

That night, Izuku didn't sleep.
The next time Izuku saw Katsuki was in a party where him and his friends went to. They don't usually go to college parties but Ochaco had begged them to go to one. Even just one.

Izuku was just at one corner watching all these strangers get smashed and dance —
— like they're forever young.

He held in his hand a red cup filled with whatever concoction they offer. He took a small sip and decided it wasn't for him. He just then watched strangers, drink, dance, come, and go.
When he got bored and he can't find Ochaco or Iida, he stepped out to get a fresh breath of air. He stopped when he saw a familiar red car and he glanced back to where the party is and hoped a little that he will see the blond.
But he knew he will be asking too much so he just sat down on the curb and llet time passed him by when someone sat down next to him.

"Is it too boring?" Izuku whipped his head at Katsuki who was drinking from a bottle.

"Not really. It's just not my thing."
"You don't like someone who goes to things like this."

"Yeah, I don't."

"So who dragged you?"

"My friends." Katsuki offered his bottle to him which Izuku accepted and drank.

"The one you were drinking before?" Izuku coughed hard at his question.
"Yes, how did you remember that."

"It's not a big deal, I just know how to fucking use this," he pointed out on his temple.

"Yeah, that's the first time I saw you." Izuku chuckled. "Quite an impression, seeing you get slapped."
"While you're getting smash because you were cheated on for the hundredth time," Katsuki smirked at him. Izuku gave a pout.

Katsuki chuckled grabbing the beer from Izuku's hand and drinking it empty. He stood up and Izuku looked up to him.
Katsuki was about to leave but he halted and turned to look at him, "Hey," he called and Izuku stared back.

"Wanna runaway?" Katsuki smiled and Izuku felt his throat tightened up. He didn't know how long he was silent but all he knew was he gave a muted nod.
Katsuki offered his hand to him, Izuku looked at it. "Get up, freckles." he clicked his tongue. Izuku grabbed his hand and Katsuki pulled him up.

The next thing he knew they were inside his car. It was surprisingly clean and well maintain which says volume about it's owner.
"Are you sure, you're okay with this?" katsuki glanced at him.

"Yeah," Izuku locked his seatbelt in place.

"I'm the guy your friends warned you about." The blond chuckled.

"You have to know I don't usually listen to what people say," Izuku chuckled back.
"Oh, last warning, freckles. I might break your heart." Katsuki playfully said while he drove away.

"Take it all, it's all broken anyway." Maybe it was the booze but Izuku felt like he was a tad bit confident as he sat on Katsuki's car while they drove off to whoever knows.
They drove to wherever there's a road. Talking about everything and nothing at the same time. Exchanging playlist and singing to cheesy love songs. They stopped on a convenience store, ate sitting on the back of his car laughing at stupid things.
"Do you get girls to say yes to you by doing this?" Izuku teased.

"Nope, they come for me and I just say yes. You won't say fucking no to a good lay you know," Katsuki answered taking a bite from Izuku's pork buns while the greenette protested.
"Ah so you're just a manwhore." Izuku nodded solemnly.

Katsuki playfully covered his face with his palm pushing him away. "I am cleaner than anyone in our damn school."

"I didn't say anything," Izuku chuckled. "Don't worry I don't judge. You do you, sweetie."
"Thanks, darling." Katsuki said overly sweet. "I always knew I can't count on you."

"You're welcome, honey. Anything for you." Izuku smiled jumping off the car. They then got inside continued driving.

"So, baby. Where should we go?" Katsuki asked playing a song.
"Let's go for something cliche like sea? I don't know you decide, love." Izuku locked his seatbelt on.

"If my babe want to go to the sea then to the sea we go." Katsuki then began entering a place on his gps navigator.
Izuku knew he's in for another heartbreak while he watch the blond playfully lipsync to a song he put on. Izuku laughed and sang with him. Okay, the heartbreak is future Izuku's problem. Tonight, in that car, while on the way to see the ocean, he's gonna allow himself to love.
Love every moment with him. Love every song they sing. Love every story they tell each other. Love as the way Katsuki held his hand while he drives. Love the way he playfully push him when they're teasing each other.

Tonight, he's gonna love Bakugou Katsuki.
Then tomorrow he'll bleed because of him and because of the songs he'll probably won't listen too for three months.

After another two hours of drive, the reached the sea where they playfully threw sand at each other and wrestle.
They then lie down, looking at the stars, Katsuki's head lying on Izuku's stomach while he played with the blond's hair.

"Why can't things be this easy? This simple?" Katsuki sighed.

"Because nothing in life is meant to be easy." Izuku answered after a minute of silence.
"The thing is you'd never really know what easy is or what peace it without the hardships." The greenette added.

"Have anyone told you you're so stupidly bright that it hurts to look at you at times?" Katsuki asked. Izuku didn't answer.

He was covering his red face.
"You're the type of person that fucking see the best in anyone despite the garbage they show." Katsuki stood up and crawled on top of him, pinning him down. "You always see the beauty in anyone even when it's barely there."

"You're so naive, darling." Katsuki leaned forward.
"So I've been told," Izuku gave a small smile.

Katsuki kissed him and Izuku answered back. Kissing him with the same intensity pulling him closer, grinding their bodies against each other while they lie down on the sand.

They moaned each other's names against their lips.
Izuku never had car sex before. He doesn't have a car and he doesn't need one to know how uncomfotable it would be. He also never had sex with another man before but right now as Katsuki held him gently, kissing his skin, while they let that simmering sexual tension between —
— reached it's final peak, he couldn't care less. The only thing he could think about was to fill himself of Katsuki, breathe him in. Take everything he's willing to give and fall apart into his hand.

"I love you," He whispered against the blond's parted lips.
"Say it again," Katsuki whispered, breathless.

"I love you," Izuku repeated.

"Again, baby." And Izuku followed. He told Katsuki he loved him over and over until bliss consumed them into nothing.
Reducing them to heap of satiated flesh.
In the morning Katsuki dropped him on his apartment. They parted with a kiss and as Izuku stepped out of the car and watch it drive away, he weakly crouched down and cried. Hugging his knees to his chest, he cried until he got tired. Until nothing is left. Until it hurt less.
Entering his apartment, he switched his phone on and was assualted by tons of messages and voice messages coming from Ochaco and Iida. Izuku just placed his phone on his bed side table and slept through the whole day.

The next day, he started over again.
He cleaned his small apartment, did his laundry, went for some grocery. He called his friends and assured them that he's okay. He went to work and did his homework.

He pretended that nothing happened but he also kept in his heart the memories that night.
"So, where were you last night?" Ochaco asked as soon as they sat down on their table.

"Can we settle first and order?" Izuku laughed.

"No! Spill the tea!" The lady crossed her arms over her chest.

Izuku gave a sad smile and before he knew it he was crying.
"Will you get mad if I told you I fell in love with Bakugou Katsuki?" Izuku chuckled wiping his tears away.

"Oh no," Ochaco gasped a little and gave him a pitying look. "Tell me all about it."

And so, Izuku spilled his guts all over there while they eat tacos.
The next time Izuku saw Katsuki was when he just got out of his first class that day. He was waiting for him outside the classroom.

"Oh, Bakugou-san, hello!" Izuku tried to keep his smile and voice steady.

"What happened to love, darling, and sweetheart?" Katsuki smiled.
Izuku laughed but only to broke into cries. Without noticing it he was hiccuping, body racked by violent sobs that he needed to lean on the wall.

Katsuki gently held his hand and pulled him on a hug. "I'm sorry it took a while, baby. I just needed to fix myself."
Izuku just held him tighter, hugging him closer. "I have been thinking how to tell you about shiz because I am the very man you need to avoid. The guy your every friend warns you about. My past relationships aren't something to be proud of. Fuck, Izuku, I am a fucking asshole."
"Yeah, you are," Izuku mumbled against his chest.

"Yeah, I am." Katsuki kissed the top of his head. "But... Can I ask you to take a risk with me? Hold my hand like you did that night?"

Izuku pulled away looking at the blond. Katsuki wiped his tears away.
"I don't know," Izuku playfully shrugged. "What can you offer me?"

Katsuki held his hand, filling the gaps between his fingers. Ruby eyes never leaving his emerald ones. And with a small smile, he answered, "I offer you the loyalty of a man who has never been loyal."
Izuku smiled.

Yeah just like what Katsuki said, he's naive. He tries to always see the beauty in anyone that's why it was easy for them to take his heart and rip it apart. He knew that already but it's like he never learned.

And he won't probably learn ever.
But of all the risk he took in his life why does it feels like this will be the most worthwhile.

Izuku tiptoed a little and whispered against Katsuki's ear, "I'll take you as you are."
And when Izuku wakes up years later in Katsuki's arms with the blond showering him kisses, Izuku knew he made the right choice of taking a risk in him.

"I love you, Izuku," Katsuki whispered and he would kiss him on the lips saying it back.

oh fuck this was so long and boring. But it was meant to be like that? Because i wanted a slow paced story. Something like those slow paced story i read before idk if i made it that but i tried 😅🤷

Anyways, sorry about this damn mess.
The grave that Katsuki visited was her mother's. She died on an accident. I didn't expand it anymore. Supposedly her and katsuki had an argument before the accident hence katsuki wanting to runaway. Runaway from everything and himself.
Idk man, this is shit. If you read up until here. Thank you.

It had been hours lol.

Goodnight (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
