Every time I poke and prod, it comes down to “poor people working the system” (and “taking my hard-earned money”).
...but people will always do what they’re incentivized to do. Poor people, rich people...doesn’t matter /2

For example...with my 2018 taxes, my accountant helped me avoid $40,000 of taxes that I could have owed.
That’s more than many Americans make in a year!
...but somehow it’s “different” and okay when rich people “work the system”...just not when poor people do it...

1. A better social safety net
2. Better education for all
3. Health care as a right, and not tied to work/5

I’d value an America with more debate and less argument.
With more compromise and less self-righteousness.
With more self awareness and less insecurity.
With more community and less tribalism.
With MORE LOVE and less hate.
