Politics & the media are far too intertwined in this country it is ruinous. journalists & tv presenters becoming politicians, politicians becoming paid stooges for billionaire bigot proprietors, ending up part of the furniture at the BBC or being laundered via twee shows

Add that to the fact that so many of them come from the 7% of the population who are privately educated. 2 universities dominate. They are all shagging each other and have aligned class interests that set them against the rest of us. Grim.

People roll their eyes at the notion of "the establishment" but this is the public face of it, isn't it? Regardless of the party or the political label they opt for, they all have more in common with each other than with us.

This circle jerk circus means hardly anyone is ever held to account. We continue to be treated to the views of war criminals, bigots and murderers who have brought ruin on this country and misery and death to many of the people in it. All of them are richly rewarded for this

Look at this morning - journalists reporting straight faced that the people who leak to them will be holding an inquiry into who is leaking to them. A charade whilst callousness and corruption reign supreme and people are immiserated and dying.
