I think its time to document my journey in Partisan politics and why I am still here...
I am a Bonafide Member of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)and I joined the party with my Eyes wide open with the likes of @MrFixNigeria @nnabros @adeyanjudeji @MrTomide @AriyoAristotle Then
Most of them have now left and joined either other parties or civil society..
But I and others like @ose_anenih decided to stay for the following and more reasons
To see if being in the Party we can help be part of the change we wish for
Hold the door open for other young people
Understand the intricacies of a political system and how to channel this into positive outcomes..
I will stop to confess here that it has not been a walk in the park..it has been one of tears, sorrow and blood.."BUT" let me say this..it is perhaps the only way if we want a better
Country..
I even contested for House of Assembly in my State and suffered the decision of a godfather! Under a PDP I had laboured and sweated for..did I leave..No! the next day I was in Portharcourt helping @atiku
to get his Presidential ticket..
Let me add a very big Caveat here..
"Do Not Go into Politics If You Do Not Have an Alternate Source of Income" No NEVER Try it in Nigeria!
It will End In Very Hot Tears..
Nigerian Politics is very expensive and this wont change until we eradicate poverty and illiteracy..
And another Illusion is this twitter politics..
Bikonu I use God to beg una..all Politics is Local..Find your Unit, Ward and Local govt...I only learnt this in 2015 and my life has not been the same since then..
Take your time to learn about Politics it is a craft..
I promise to find a way to Educate people on politics in Nigeria what you need to know..
