RISE Dead or Alive Osaka is tomorrow (1 PM Japan time) on Abema TV, VPN not needed. Tenshin main event, a great 4-man tournament to designate his next challenger, the final 4 of the Queen of Queens Tournament and interesting prospects on this card. https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/72928-rise-dead-or-alive2020-osaka
Yuki fights Tenshin for his retirement, a poisoned gift for good service provided to the promotion over the last 15 years. Unless Yuki lands one of his miraculous low kick it shouldn't be close. Yuki has fought up to 65kg and could be surprisingly hard to put out.
The first Semi final of the tournament is Masahiko Suzuki vs Rui Ebata. An excellent fight between two top figthers at bantamweight. Considering Suzuki's recent performances he is entering this tournment as the favorite but Ebata is one of the best fighter he's ever faced.
Suzuki ( @mshk_szk 23 yo, 25 (16KO)-3) is the RISE -55kg champion and is rocking an 18 fights win streak, his last defeat dates back to 2015 against Tenshin. He is massive at 55kg and puts pressure on his opponents like few do.
His recent title defense agaisnt Rasta (who withdrew from this tournament) is a perfect introduction to his style.
His opponent Rui Ebata ( @RuiEvatar 29yo, 42-4-2) might have the physicality to resist him. This could be the best fight on the card. Ebata won his last fight by decision, a tough and competitive bout against shootboxing champ Seiki Ueyama.
Ueyama (24yo, 24-13-1) has a chance to get revenge tonight as he takes part in the other semi final. He fights Shiro (27yo, 40-13-4), finalist of the last RISE World Series. Like Suzuki and Ebata he is chasing a rematch with Tenshin, close fight.
In a non title super fight, Kosei Yamada (27yo, 11-0) the RISE -65kg champion will display his elite Seidokaikan karate style against Katsuki Kitano. More used to a muay thai ruleset he should have a hard time with Yamada who's transition to kickboxing has been perfect so far.
The final 4 of the Queen of Queens Tournament will offer us an unexpected but very welcome rematch between the favorite of the Tournament Hinata Terayama ( @kick_hinata
19yo, 15-2-1) and the brutal sasori.
Their first fight is must watch.
We already talked about the two women for their quarter final bout. https://twitter.com/kicktothefuture/status/1314631507395440645
In the other semi final Momoka and Momi battle for a spot in the final and the 3 million yen cash prize. Evenly matched both figthers are veteran of the scene (almost 100 fights combined). Momoka's hand speed might be the difference but Momi's activity and movement could do it.
Serving as a reserve fight for the tournament Koyuki Miyazaki (17yo, 2-0-1) vs Ayaka (19yo, 8-3). Ayaka lost her quarter finals bout against Momi last month but still lookes promising.
Koyuki instantly became one of our favorite prospects after her short notice peroformance from the last event, tracking her progress against a more experienced opponent sould be interesting. https://twitter.com/kicktothefuture/status/1315322313999613953
Opening the main card, top prospect vs top prospect with Ryoga Terayama (16yo 3-0-2) vs Shoa Arii (19yo, 4-0-1). A rematch between two young talented fighters. Their first fight ended in a draw. We talked about Arii's last impressive performance. https://twitter.com/kicktothefuture/status/1304124983824711680

Terayama ( @teppen__ryoga) is the new talent from TEPPEN gym (Tenshin's gym). Great amateur career, pro at 15 and already on big cards at 16. He recently won the DEEP KICK title, a very good regional organization.
He is the younger brother of Hinata Terayama presented earlier. His talent is obvious, should he win, calling him the best under 18 prospect in the sport wouldn't be a stretch. The RISE -53kg division's depth is more impressive than ever.
Their first fight
Finally on the undercard Ryunosuke Omori ( @karateippon
20yo) has his second pro fight after a successful pro debut earlier this year. Winner of the Shin Karate Japan Cup in 2019 he looked promising and should show improvements against an other debuting fitghter.
