Before I go to bed, I wanted to share something I have been doing the past couple of weeks. My PhD supervisor suggested this as a writing practice and I have applied the method to my work but also life in general. It's a nice little reflective practice. I write at least two +
paragraphs each day (sometimes pages) about things that I am reading for my work or little things that I find beautiful, thought provoking, sometimes just describing a photo, a scenary, or a scenario. These paragraphs do not have to be coherent at the time of writing, they don't
need to tell a story straight away, they are just thoughts and reflections that you can look back on, to write a longer piece (if that's the goal). But it's also been great to write without feeling that it needs to 'fit' somewhere, some paragraphs I write and revisit +
because it's just a nice thought, because it makes me smile or because it inspires me to write differently and to see things from a different perspective. This is a very random ramble but I thought I'd share maybe someone would like to try. Also the lofi girl is my ult motivator.
