Something that’s been nagging at me is the hypocrisy I’ve seen of people going “DNI if you don’t believe in he/him lesbians” while, in the same breath, going “DNI if you believe bi/pan lesbians are real”.

How the fuck does one “allow” the first but not the second?”
I see it consistently with fanpol too stupid to realize they’re sipping radfem juice but like... I’m not too bright and I’m sitting here like “how can you allow flexibility for what a lesbian is in situation A, but not situation B?”
I’m not a lesbian so I have no say, of course. But while I don’t... fully grasp the nuances, I really don’t see how accepting someone who uses masculine pronouns is any more difficult than accepting someone with complex ways of defining their romantic or sexual inclinations.
The absolutely weirdest example I’ve seen of this is a nb lesbian who has a bf (in their own words). This very same person insists bi/pan lesbians are not real and “harm lesbians and bi/pan women”.

I mean. I’m not interested in policing but how do they not see the hypocrisy?
I’m not remotely interested in policing how people define themselves. If someone tells me “I’m a lesbian and my pronouns are he/him,” I’ll be like “ok”. I don’t completely get it (being neither trans nor a lesbian), but it’s really not hard just to roll with it. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
