Prediction: the government will continue to say people aren& #39;t following the rules, rather than confront the reality that the rules are inadequate and founded on an incorrect understanding of the disease
Prediction No. 2: case numbers will not be permitted to get low enough to control the disease, just in time for Christmas superspreading, so by the end of January we& #39;ll be close to where we are now
Prediction No. 3: the future public inquiries will focus entirely on politics, and not on why SAGE& #39;s worst-case scenario was so laughably optimistic https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-54750775">https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/heal...
I& #39;d say a good 50-75% of every future report will be about critiquing the PM and the ministers involved, with virtually no criticism for the atrocious job the UK& #39;s & #39;experts& #39; have done since the beginning of this -- because experts always get off scot-free.
Prediction No. 4: no government guidance will mention ventilation until mid-December
Prediction No. 5: the government will maintain its line about not vaccinating anybody under 50 until about February, when it becomes clear they have more than enough doses and there& #39;s literally no reason not to. I (26, M) will not get a jab till late summer at the earliest
