. @karaforcongress I just got an odd text message that I’d love to hear your thoughts on/explanation for. It purports to support Libertarian candidate Tyler Schaeffer, but something seems more than a little shady and an underhanded way to take votes from @DonJBacon

First, Mike says he is from “Citizens for Small Government”. If you follow the link https://www.schaeffer4congress.com you will see that at the bottom of the page “Paid for by Citizens for Small Government” — strange time have a 3rd party pay great a candidate’s website. But there’s more…
The website was registered just 12 days ago through @Wix — strange. Also strange is that @OpenSecretsDC has no information on Citizens For Small Government. If you search google without their name in “” it brings up Citizens for SMALLER Government; a legit organization

Putting their name in quotes does give us a Facebook Page and a twitter account @_liberty4people - both blatant sock puppets and created within the last month. 3 likes on Facebook & 0 followers on Twitter. Again, shady.
Even the candidate seems like a sock puppet. Zero campaign filings on @OpenSecretsDC and no campaign into on the @LPNational candidates list.
So @karaforcongress you may be asking, “what does this have to do with me?” Well, it’s a dirty tactic Dems have been using this election cycle in Kentucky. This looks like the same kind of operation to me.
@asanderford would love to see you dig into this. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.kentucky.com/news/politics-government/article246553763.html
