This is going to be another mat h where we would need 3 points. Our position in the table isn't great with us being 5th. We did play really well against Juventus but we need to continue with performances like that.

MATS, Umtiti, Coutinho and Araujo are going to miss this match. With Araujo missing, we continue with just 2 CB's(Lenglet & Pique). Really great squad planning from Bartomeu and the board. Thank God they are gone. Frenkie would be the backup probably.

Not happy with Koeman's decision to not pick Puig. He's not helping himself if he wants to continue to be the manager by not even picking Puig in the squad. Happy to see Konrad get selected though. Hoping that we get to see him play tomorrow.
PREDICTED XI:
In goal there is no question that Neto would play. In defense Alba continues to play ahead of Firpo. On the right I would play Roberto over Dest. Changing our RB evey game wouldn't help either of them. Pique comes back replacing Araujo alongside Lenglet.

In midfield, I would bench Frenkie for this game. He's played a lot of games and he's the only backup for our backline. Busquets starts with Pjanic. Pjanic had a good game against his former side. Didn't look like a new signing who's trying to fit in new surroundings.
In attack, I would continue to play Messi as the '10'. Alaves are a tough team. Can't bench him for this game. The next match can be considered to bench him.
On the right Dembele starts as well. He had one of the better games against Juventus. Deserves to start again.

On the left, Ansu starts this match over Pedri. There are many more matches coming and having pace on both the wings would be helpful against Alaves.
The '9' would be Griezmann. He had a underrated game against Juventus. Fans didn't give him enough credit for his performance.
