Choose Democracy describes itself as "a crew of organizers, activists, trainers, academics, & concerned citizens preparing for the scenario of a coup in 2020."

Still haven't heard anyone srsly articulate a theory where military or any other institution wd back a Trump coup.
They already have 160 protests planned around US for Wednesday "should it become necessary to take to the streets to demonstrate opposition to what the government is doing."

No idea what govt cd possibly be "doing" come Weds. Disputed matters & controversies will land in courts.
There seem to be extreme hijinks this yr - Louisville mail carrier tossed a tray of absentee ballots, a rando set fire to a Boston ballot drop box, incriminating videos where folks seem to admit to potentially impactful elections fraud. There cd end up being a few legit concerns.
We cd well end up with a (further) hotly litigated election. Given all above & v aggressive Dem-friendly narrative policing across much media, major social platforms, & a wide array of allied NGOs, corps, intl orgs, NewSpeak named grps, & mass organizing, I'm apprehensive rn
If it looks like Trump cd win EC, & folks with deep connections to Dems &/or globalist establishment start talking abt "democracy failing," make claims unsupported to contradicted by best available evidence, urge mass mobilization, & minimize violence, those will be warning signs

Sean Eldridge, founder of Stand Up America & husband of Facebook Co-Founder Chris Hughes (net worth: $430 million btw), claims he already has 400+ events planned around the country.

Great thread there, but I wdn't say Dems sought to expand vote by mail primarily to create electoral confusion. Expanding VBM access *& security* was smart given pandemic uncertainties. But some Dem court fights have undermined security & others caused problems for dubious gain.
Dems have already been VERY quick to allege voter suppression in early voting long line cases where there is zero indication any Republican whatsoever had anything to do with planning polling locations.

Those decisions are usually made by local officials. Often Democratic ones.
Many Dem voters seem v concerned about things Trump has said that could arguably undermine public confidence in the election. Yet they don't realize Dems & Left play their own confidence-undermining fake narrative games. Plus Left's actually mobilizing large numbers with theirs.
