July 2019: Cam Newton throws a perfect deep ball in TC, coming off shoulder surgery...
August 2019: Cam injures his foot playing in a meaningless preseason game against the Patriots (Funny how the team that hurt him signed him)
September 2019: Everyone can see Cam is injured...

He's limping on the field & he's not running. I never watched a Cam Newton game where he's not running. We didn't know it then but week two against the Buccaneers showed where this franchise was heading when they took the ball out of Cam's hands & gave it to C-Mac at 4th & 1.
October 2019: Backup QB comes in & does what he's asked to do. The coaching staff, media, & owner starts this not committing to Cam thing because they're winning games without him. That's when the Panthers crash back down to Earth.
November 2019: Strike one: Tepper showing fake love to Cam by showing up at his Thanksgiving Jam. We still didn’t know it then but Tepper was stabbing that knife deep into Cam’s back.
December 2019: Ron Rivera gets fired. Ron was the scapegoat this whole season, Tepper wanting Ron to switch to the 3-4 was the devil’s work. I believe the real reason Ron was fired had nothing to do with on the field, he was committed to Cam.
Cam had surgery on his foot & did his Secret Santa sleigh. He reiterated that Charlotte is home & the Panthers would have to force him out in order for him to leave.
January 2020: Eric Bieniemy was looking like the favorite to get the Panthers head coach job. The media was saying how his interview went well & he wanted to work with Cam Newton. He had a plan but Cam was a part of that plan, that’s why he’s not their coach. Everybody thought...
Bieniemy was the lock for the Panthers until they pulled a stunt out of their ass in hiring Matt Rhule. How you hire a college coach when there is a SB winning coordinator available who has that pedigree is beyond me.
This is the part where I get fired to the sun. Luke Kuechly retired. No one can tell me that Luke retired only because of his health. He seen the writing on the wall & didn’t want to go through that. Health played a part in his decision but I believe it goes further than that...
Look at what transpired when Luke retired. Luke was limited in an awful scheme & I think that weighed on him more than anything. That scheme made him feel like he lost a step but I don’t think he did. I miss seeing Luke out there but I respect his decision in stepping away.
February 2020: Olsen was released & they put out a statement that it was a mutual agreement. Greg came out & said no it wasn’t, he basically said that the front office people told him listen, we’re getting younger, your services are no longer needed. Strike two
Same month: Before the SB, Cam Newton was doing interviews & he expressed that he’s confident that he will be the Panthers QB next season. He said that he had a meeting with Tepper, Hurney, & Rhule. They made him feel like they had his back, ha ha SUCKER!
March 2020- The worst month ever: Eric Reid gets released by the Panthers, how when he was one of the bright spots last season. Signed, resigned a few players to “benefit” the team but the big one is where all hell breaks loose.
Whew! Matt Rhule goes to the NFL combine & says all the right stuff about Cam Newton. Rhule just singing Cam’s praises talking about I want to work with him, I want him on the roster. He’s a great player blah blah blah.
A week or so later, The Panthers grant Cam Newton permission to seek a trade. Who the fu? That 180 spin was next level, already got a bad taste in my mouth from that man. Cam posts under that saying that he never wanted this, the Panthers forced him to do this & Olsen chimes in.
Sounds familiar. Why are we treating our franchise guys like this? Davis was forced out before the 2019 season & you can tell now that Rivera didn’t approve of that move. New regime but same damn issues when it comes to retaining core guys. Building houses with no foundation.
